Best Iphone I68 from Myluxphone

Apple’s iPhone is one of the most famous mobile devices that have been getting much traction in consumer market. However, you may be surprised to hear that there is still no official iPhone unit being brought into China market yet. Good news now, China Unicom has finally confirmed its agreement with Apple to bring in the iPhone officially to the country with huge population and full of opportunity to boost the iPhone’s volume to the next level.

Currently, there are many iPhone Replica competing in this market. Most are quite similar and almost all have high customer satisfaction, but they do differ slightly and each has something that makes it somewhat unique to other models. Today’s market allows consumers to chose between phones with Java, phones that are considered minis, and phones that have features which are considering to be a “bonus” like shake and tilt, FM radio, or dual sim slots.

There are a few clones out there which remain popular even though they don’t support Java. The iphone i68 isn’t one of i68 SciPhone JAVA is considered to be loaded by most. It supports both Java and Bluetooth and it is able to browse the Internet via WAP 2.0 browser (although because it has Java you can certainly download the very popular Opera Mini browser.) It is the phone that introduced the upgraded firm ware which was very well received. It has a bit of an upgraded camera at 2.0 mega pixels which doubles as a web cam. It has a media player which plays both music (MP3s) and video (MP4s.) It can hold up to 8GB of memory. It’s a quad band which has the shake and tilt feature which means if you hold the phone upside down, the photos or videos will be oriented in the same direction. And, you can change the tracks of music by flicking your wrist. You can move things from the phone to your computer by using either a USB cord (which often serves as the charger) or Bluetooth or a memory card. This phone is dual sim. This phone is pretty sleek and slim, although it isn’t considered one of the new minis. The dimensions are 110 x 60 x 11 mm and this model weighs in at about 95 grams. It’s more of a full sized phone. For comparison purposes, the Iphone Mini KA08 is about 65 grams, but the advantage of the larger phone is the full 3.2 inch screen rather than a 2.6 inch screen which makes texting and browsing the net a bit of a more pleasurable experience.

This is a pretty quick phone that is pretty intuitive and user friendly. Most of us have seen the iPhone in action and the SciPhone i68 provides a very similar experience. It has the flow touch interface that allows you to use your fingers and scroll or flip through for just about every application. The phone is solid feeling, takes nice photos, has a very high resolution, and is very responsive to touch. The speakers are very loud, even on the lowest setting (which is why mine mostly stays on vibrate.) If you’re looking for the Apple features on the cheap, you’ll likely be very satisfied with this phone. By jasperplmltd

5 Great Ways to Get More From Your iPad

Did you know that you can stream movies from your PC to the iPad, use it as a secondary monitor, connect USB speakers and keyboards, and browse Websites with actual tabs? Here’s how to get the most from Apple’s iPad.

The iPad is loaded with all kinds of features you’ve probably heard about, but look a little deeper, and its extra abilities might surprise you. Some of these secrets are enabled through apps, while some are built into the device already.
Turn Your iPad into a Secondary Desktop Display

With its big, high-resolution display, it’s a shame to just park an iPad when switching to a computer. Instead, Air Display  makes your iPad a second screen for your Mac, extending the desktop. The tool has just been submitted to the App Store and should be released soon; I checked out a beta.
You install a utility on the computer and connect with the Air Display System Preference. (It’s Mac-only at launch, but a Windows version is coming.) The iPad then behaves just like an extra screen. You reposition it in the Displays System Preference like a real monitor, in a portrait or landscape view. Although it lags a little when showing video, it refreshes quickly enough for most work. You can even tap on the iPad to click.
If you can’t wait for Air Display’s release, you can check out iDisplay  now. But this buggy competitor needs an update to match Air Display’s ease.

Stream Movies From Your PC

Air Video can stream 720p video from your PC, and convert transcode video formats in real time.
Even if you bought the largest-capacity iPad, if it can’t fit all of your videos, it’s too small. Instead of trying to cram everything into the device, you can stream videos from a local or online PC. The process has one main caveat; if you bought movies or TV shows from the iTunes store, DRM restrictions block those files. (Podcasts and music videos should work.). But you can watch your own videos or DRM-free downloads without taking up iPad storage.

Of the many options available, I like Air Video the best. (A free version includes the same functions but limits the number of files you can browse in each folder). Similar to competitors, you run a server utility on your PC or Mac in order to route data to the iPad. In my tests, Air Video played most resolutions smoothly, including 720p video files over an 802.11n Wi-Fi network.
That resolution stutters on an 802.11g network, but if you reach a file that’s too big—or just not in an iPad-friendly QuickTime format, including AVI, WMV, ASF, MKV, DIVX, and FLV—you can run video to iPad converter software to convert the clip. Just hit a button from the iPad interface and stream it when ready, or have a speedy PC process it and stream it live. It even supports subtitles and TV output. The iPad can send video to a TV at 1024 by 768 resolution via its  Dock Connector to VGA adapter; 576p and 480p with the  Apple Component A/V Cable, and 576i or 480i with an Apple Composite Cable.
Connect More Than a Camera
Apple’s iPad Camera Connection Kit  does so much more than its stated purpose. Instead of just transferring photos and videos from your camera or SD card, the adapter’s USB port attaches a range of devices.
Many USB keyboards work. The iPad presents a warning that the device isn’t supported (shown left), but if it doesn’t draw much power, you can ignore the message. Volume and media keys usually work, and you can even use desktop commands such as Command-Z. (Don’t forget that the iPad also officially supports Bluetooth keyboards and Apple’s iPad Keyboard Dock).
USB audio devices can work, too–including speakers, headsets, and microphones. If a device draws too much power and balks (as when I connected a Zoom H2 mic and Logitech V20 PC speakers), no problem: just attach the device to a powered USB hub, and connect the hub to the Camera Connection Kit adapter. You can even attach different devices—such as a keyboard and speaker set—at the same time.
Jailbreak for More Features

Apple maintains obsessive control over the iPad, making it less like a computer and more like a media player. But you have an alternative: Jailbreak the iPad, and you can run third-party apps that weren’t approved by Apple.

If you’re willing to jailbreak your iPad (which means voiding your iPad warranty and taking full responsibility for anything that may go wrong), then you can also use the Camera Connection Kit to read USB sticks and SD card directories. (Without jailbreaking, you can already import SD-card videos and photos or attach a Compact Flash reader). With a bit more fiddling, you can read files from an external USB hard drive. Those are a lot of unnecessary hoops to jump through for such basic connectivity, but it is at least possible. Again, jailbreaking is best left for the tech-oriented or the adventurous.

You would connect the iPad to a computer, run Sprit and then be able to install apps through the Cydia interface. Cydia and iTunes apps coexist, so you can install apps like Backgrounder and Multiflow to enable multitasking (letting you listen to Pandora while working in other iTunes-purchased apps, say). Of course, multitasking is coming officially in OS 4.0. Notes: ProSwitcher (arguably the best jailbreak multitasking app for the iPhone) didn’t appear to be optimized for the iPad (yet) at the time of writing. For jailbreak apps, sticking to those that have been reworked for the iPad will help avoid–though not guarantee against–unnecessary hassle.

Other jailbreak apps include iPad-ready versions of Wi-Fi Sync (wireless iTunes syncing), Winterboard (customized themes), and Dashboard (OS X-style widgets). You can also use your iPad with a mouse, run game console emulators and hand controllers, and otherwise do things Apple doesn’t allow. Benefits will grow as the iPad jailbreaking community expands.
Access Your PC Remotely
VNC Viewer can control a remote PC as if you’re sitting in front of it.
You just left for the weekend but forgot to copy an important business file (or hilarious LOLcat) to your laptop. Use an iPad to retrieve the content. Several remote desktop-style tools present a live view of the distant computer, letting you control the PC as if you were sitting right there.

Whether you’re reaching across the Internet, or just into the next room, the process isn’t fast enough to play smooth video. So keep searching for that Hulu fix. But most other applications and slow-moving Flash games —such as Farmville—work if you can handle about 10 to 20 frames per second.

Among many choices, I like LogMeIn Ignition (if you want to configure as little as possible) and iTeleport, plus VNC Viewer  if you want to manually set it up. You’ll first configure the PC with a server utility (or an option built into the OS) first, then you can connect anywhere.

All three tools offer similar functionality. You’ll zoom in and out with pinch gesture, and mouse around by touching the iPad. Two-fingered taps activate right-click, and other gestures help with the input. iTeleport includes more keyboard options, such as presets to control media applications, but I thought the implementation got in the way.

If you just want to sit back and control a computer hooked up to a TV, Mobile Mouse  can turn your iPad into a wireless keyboard, multitouch mouse trackpad, and media remote.

New features from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2 Froyo

With all the hoopla lately about Android 2.2 (aka Froyo, which means frozen yogurt by the way) I figured I would write a brief rundown of some of the new features you can expect from the latest and greatest version of the Android OS.

Home screen

A new tips widget will grace your homescreen. This widget will assist new users on how to configure the home screen, adding shortcuts, adding widgets and how to use multiple home screens.

Another new home screen feature, as you can see, are dedicated buttons for the Phone, Launcher and the Browser.

Exchange Support

No doubt, one of Android’s most lacking features is exchange support. Well that will be changing with Android 2.2. Froyo’s new and improved Exchange support will include the following features:

Improved security – Exchange admins can enforce a password policy across devices with support for numeric or alpha numeric passwords to unlock a device
Remote wipe – Exchange admins can remotely wipe the phone to factory defaults if the device was lost or stolen
Exchange calendars – Will be supported in the Calendar application
Auto-discovery – With just your username and password, you will easily be able to set up and sync an Exchange account (requires Exchange 2007+)
Global address look-up – Will now be available from within the Email application allowing users to auto-complete recipient names from the directory

Camera and Gallery

A new and improved Gallery will allow you to peek into picture stacks using a zoom gesture.

The camera now will have on-screen buttons that will provide easy access via a new user interface for controlling the zoom, flash, white balance, focus, geo-tagging and exposure.

In addition, the camcorder now allows you to easily choose the size and quality desired for your video to make uploading to the web or sending video by MMS easier and more efficient. Shooting video at night or low-light conditions will be better now as well as the LED flash will become a light source when shooting video.

Make your phone a mobile hotspot

Apparently, not all devices will support this feature, but phones like the Nexus One will. When configured as a hotspot, your Froyo device share it’s connectivity with up to 8 other devices. Also, you can use the 3G connection on your phone (via a USB connection) to provide access to the internet on your Windows or Linux laptop. (Yes you can get apps for this on Android 2.1, but it will now be supported natively)

Multiple keyboard languages

Users that speak multiple languages will love this feature. You can now add multiple languages to the keyboard and effortlessly switch between Latin-based input languages by swiping across the space bar. Not only does this effect the keys but it effects the auto-correct dictionary as well.

Improved Performance

Performance increases are coming from all over with the Android 2.2 update, here’s the highlights:

Browser – By enabling faster loading of JavaScript, the V8 engine will boost the speed of the browser
Dalvik performance boost – in CPU-intensive duties, an increase of 2x to 5x can be seen
Kernel memory management boost – Memory reclamation by up to 20x. Applications will switch faster on devices with less memory

Flash!

Flash game addicts rejoice! Adobe just recently released Flash 10.1 for devices running Android 2.2 (there are some beta builds of the OS out there). So not only will you now be able to play flash games on your Android 2.2 device, but any type of interactive content will now work flawlessly on your device.

There is one downside to this though, you will now see those annoying flash ads when browsing the web. But in this writers opinion, it’s a small price to pay for the many other benefits of flash.

Misc Improvements

Bluetooth

Share contacts with other phones
Voice dialing
Support for BT enabled car & desk docks
Improved compatibility with car kits & headsets

2.6.32 kernel upgrade

HIGHMEM support for RAM > 256MB
SDIO scheduling and Bluetooth improvements

Applications

App Error Reports – A new bug reporting feature enables developers to receive crash and freeze reports from users of their Android Market apps
Apps can be installed on external storage (microSD card for example)
Apps can participate in data back up and restore, allowing users to reset their device to factory defaults and not lose any personal data

Cloud to Device messaging – Android apps can use the Android Cloud to Device messaging to allow mobile alert, send to phone and 2-way push sync abilites

Camera/Camcorder

Video FPS doubled from 10 to 20
Camera now supports portrait orientation, zoom controls, exposure data and a thumbnail utility
Camcorder also allows apps to determine hardware capabilities

User Interface – Users are now able to select “car mode” and “night mode” controls to configure their UI however they like.

Looks pretty good doesn’t it? No official word has been said on when the Android 2.2 update will be pushed out over the air, but the word around the web speculates it to be within a month. So cross your fingers and keep checking back with TalkAndroid as we’ll be sure to make a lot of noise when the official update gets rolled out.
